My Journey
I am Iya Olosunde—an Iyanifa, Apetebi, spiritual educator, birthworker, author, mother, and founder of Ilé Àṣẹ Ori Egun àti Ọ̀ṣun™. My work is centered on helping people return to themselves through Ori, ancestral remembrance, education, character and community.
Ori Comes First
Our relationship with Ori shapes the way we understand purpose, choices, character and destiny. My teaching begins with learning to listen inwardly, live responsibly, and move with intention.
Why I Created the Ilé
I wanted a space where learning could be respectful, accessible, culturally grounded, and connected to real community. A place where women and families can learn, ask questions, build confidence, and practice Ìwà Pẹ̀lẹ́.

Teaching is woven through my work—from spiritual education to family-centered learning and children’s books.

My background in birthwork brings care, education, advocacy, and respect for women’s life transitions into the way I serve.

Hand of Ifá Beginner Course
8-week guided learning experience with assigned readings, reflection activities, Yoruba terminology, foundational Ifá education, group discussion, four live Zoom classes, Q&A and a certificate of completion.
